New version of the game

When I originally made this game, it was supposed to just be something short and silly and I honestly didn't think very hard about it. The theme of the jam was to make a Bitsy game based on a Twitter bot, and at the time it made sense to draw attention to a bot that I liked. The original version of the game essentially included Bitsyfied copies of tweets from that bot as part of the story, with my own writing used to flesh out a small glimpse into a fictional world in which these oddball demons were real and could be summoned.

I ended up taking down the original version of the game after the creators of the Twitter bot made a copyright claim through Itch asking me to remove their content from the game. I could have updated the game with that content removed, but the jam had just finished not that long ago, and removing the Twitter bot from the game felt like it wouldn't have belonged in the jam anymore. I was also not in a good place at the time and the overall anxiety of the situation/interaction made it easier to just hide the game and avoid admitting to anyone else that I had done a Bad Thing.

It's been quite a while and a few Bitsy versions since then and I didn't want the game to just rot in my drafts, so I've finally done the grunt work of going through and replacing assets that originally came from the Twitter bot. It's still the same small game and far from important in any way, but hopefully at least one more person can see it and enjoy a short silly little thing.
